Galway Downs Special Events
Temecula, California
Description
Galway Downs Special Events in Temecula, CA is a sprawling venue that hosts everything from high-level equestrian competitions to soccer tournaments and weddings across its diverse grounds. The property features multiple dressage arenas, stadium jumps, and cross-country courses that attract top-tier riders, though visitors should prepare for dusty dirt parking and limited amenities like porta-potties instead of permanent restrooms. Traffic congestion during events can add 45+ minutes to arrival and departure times, and the $15-20 parking fee is a common complaint. While the natural setting and well-maintained equestrian facilities receive praise, the soccer fields can be uneven with occasional holes, and the lack of shade structures and permanent seating is noted as a drawback for the prices charged.
